Details
Designed in 1966, Ward Bennett’s groundbreaking Envelope Armchair transformed industrial materials into elevated design, anticipating the High Tech look of the 1970s. Bennett wrapped his chair’s tubular steel frame in padded upholstery which, in turn, envelops the sitter. With its high backrest and wide seat, the sleek armchair balances modern elegance with comfort. Made in U.S.A.

Ward Bennett
With his signature “sensual minimalism” as his guide, Ward Bennett designed more than 150 chairs.
